Veterinarians
Shane Donner
DVM/Practice Owner
Dr. Donner graduated with his DVM from Ontario Veterinary College in 2005, following achieving a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Guelph, Ontario in 2001. He began as an associate veterinarian at the practice in 2011, before becoming the practice owner in 2017. He enjoys daily interactions with clients and their pets and gets great gratification from helping others. His specific areas of interest are surgery and dermatology.
Staff
Alexandra Colavecchia
Alexandra (Alex for short) joined the practice in November of 2022 as a receptionist, she has recently moved to management in 2023.
She graduated Lewiston- Porter High School in 2009 with a Regents Diploma.
Outside of her duties at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her own pets (2 black cats named Poo and Bear, and her friendly pit mix, Obi)
And riding motorcycles with her boyfriend. She also enjoys acrylic painting and anything crafty/artsy.
Corrinne Yotter
LVT
Corrinne graduated from Medaille College with an Associate’s Degree in Science and is an NYS Licensed Veterinary Technician. She began working at the practice in 2008. Her wide breadth of experience and tenure resulted in her becoming the clinic’s lead technician. She shares her home with three dogs, four cats, and four turtles. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga, and cooking.
Katie Johnson
Receptionist
Katie joined the practice in February of 2023. She attended Damien Collage and graduated in 2022 with a major in English, and a minor in Political Science. Outside of her duties as a receptionist at the clinic, Katie enjoys spending time with her own family pets, and anything adventurous. She is known for her bubbly, friendly personality, and outgoing deposition.
Kelly Jordan
Kelly joined the practice in October of 2025. She attended NCCC and graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. She has 13
years of previous experience as a receptionist in Veterinary Medicine, so this isn’t her first rodeo! Outside of her duties as a receptionist at the clinic, Kelly enjoys walking her two huskies, Levi and Jace, playing with her cat Keegan, and spending time with her donkey, Donk!
Ruby
Ruby is our official Lake Ave Princess! She stepped into her royal role in April of 2025 after we lost our beloved CEO, Geo. Since then, she’s become an essential part of our team, always up front to greet clients, supervise the day’s activities, and make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
When Ruby isn’t charming visitors or assisting at the front desk, you can usually find her napping in one of her many favorite spots or playing with her toys. She takes her job very seriously… unless it’s nap time, of course.
Ruby spends her weekends at home getting spoiled and loved and comes back ready to rule the clinic all over again.
