Alexandra Colavecchia

Practice Manager

Alexandra (Alex for short) joined the practice in November of 2022 as a receptionist and quickly advanced into management in 2023. A 2009 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School with a Regents Diploma, she brings both organizational skill and passion to the clinic team. Outside of work, Alex loves spending time with her lively pet family: her two black cats, Poo and Bear, her friendly Pit mix, Obi, and her newest addition, a jackchi named Gizmo. When she isn’t caring for animals, you can find her riding motorcycles with her boyfriend or channeling her creativity into acrylic painting and various arts and crafts projects. Whether she is managing daily operations or greeting clients, Alex is dedicated to ensuring a positive and compassionate experience for every pet and owner who walks through our doors.

Corrinne Yotter

Corrinne Yotter

Lead Veterinarian Technician

Corrinne has been a vital part of our veterinary family since 2008! After earning her Associate’s Degree in Science from Medaille College, she became a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician. Thanks to her deep breadth of experience and years of dedicated care, she now serves as our clinic’s Lead Technician. Corrine’s passion for animals extends to her home life: she shares her home with two dogs, a chiweenie, Mickey and a purebred Cocker Spaniel named Katie, two black cats, Scarlet and Eben, and three turtles. When she isn’t busy keeping our patients healthy, you can find her practicing yoga, hitting the running trails, or whipping up something deliciously vegan in the kitchen.

Jordanne Rice

Veterinary Technician – In Training

Originally from east of Rochester, Jordanne has always possessed a deep passion for animals and a dedication to helping others. She joined the practice in April of 2026, but her career in veterinary medicine began in Knoxville, Tennessee where she spent five years building a string foundation in patient care and clinical skills. She then expanded her professional growth in Charleston, North Carolina, gaining several years of valuable experience working with diverse patients and veterinary teams, before returning home to the Buffalo area in 2020. Shortly after moving back to New York, she met Dr. Mroziak and immediately knew she found a veterinarian she wanted to work alongside, remaining inspired daily by Dr. Mroziak’s compassion and dedication. Currently continuing her education to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician, Jordanne is committed to constantly expanding her clinical skills. At home, she shares her life with her own beloved pet family: her dog, Kylie, and her two cats, Tuna and Cece. Jordanne’s extensive multi-state experience and her relentless drive for professional growth make her an incredible asset to our practice, ensuring your pets are always looked after with the utmost skill and kindness.

With years of hands-on experience caring for animals, Jason has dedicated his career to providing compassionate and attentive care to pets of all kinds! His passion for animal welfare extends far beyond the workplace and into his everyday life. At home, he shares his life with three beloved dogs, several beautiful venomous tarantula species, frogs, snakes, and axolotls. His appreciation for the animal kingdom has given him a unique understanding of the individual needs and personalities of both traditional and exotic pets. When he’s not caring for animals, Jason enjoys exploring the world alongside his wife. Together they have traveled and camped in some of the planets most extraordinary environments, from the lush jungles of Southeast Asia and the depths of the Amazon rainforest to the vast deserts of Egypt and the breathtaking landscapes of Antarctica. Kelly Jordan

Lead Receptionist

Kelly joined our practice in October of 2025, and she is no stranger to the veterinary world! With her impressive 13 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist, she quickly advanced to the Lead Receptionist position. Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge and a familiar comfort to our front desk. While she originally planned to continue her formal education after receiving her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts in 2006 from NCCC, surviving a life-threatening illness and undergoing a liver transplant in 2009 completely changed her outlook. Choosing to pursue daily happiness instead, she found her true calling in the veterinary field. Outside of work, Kelly stays active with her two huskies, Levi and Jace, enjoys cuddling her cat, Keegan, and has tons of fun in the sun with her beautiful horse, Riggs, and her beloved donkey, Donk. Whether she is greeting you at the front desk or helping you navigate your pets care, Kelly’s warmth and dedication ensure that both you and your furry family members feel right at home from the moment you walk through our doors.

Hayley Hare

Receptionist

Hayley has been a wonderful addition to our front desk team since June of 2024! Having studied English Literature at SUNY Geneseo in 2022, she is our resident bookworm. When she isn’t welcoming clients at the clinic, you’ll most likely find her baking up a storm, exploring hiking trails, or lost in a great novel. Hayley is a devoted cat mom to her two felines, Baron Von Kitty, and Mochi, and happily pulls double-duty by taking our beloved clinic cat and princess, Ruby, home with her for weekend visits. With her bright personality and organized care, Hayley is dedicated to ensuring every client and patient feels supported from the moment they check in.

Geo

Sue Balcom

Receptionist

Sue joined our team in February of 2026 with a strong commitment to client service and a lifelong appreciation for animal companionship. She is an alumna of Lewiston-Porter High School, where she graduated with a Regents diploma. At home, Sue is a passionate Dachshund lover, and shares her life with her own dachshund, Cooper. Her personal interests keep her busy outside of clinic hours, ranging from culinary arts like cooking and canning, to farm-to-table gardening right from the greenhouse to the ground. She also enjoys motorcycle riding with her significant other. Sue’s well- rounded background and dedication to helping others ensure that our daily operations remain smooth and that every patient is treated with the upmost kindness.

Geo

Ruby

Clinic Princess

Ruby is our official Lake Ave Princess! She stepped into her royal role in April of 2025 after we lost our beloved CEO, Geo. Since then, she’s become an essential part of our team, always up front to greet clients, supervise the day’s activities, and make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

When Ruby isn’t charming visitors or assisting at the front desk, you can usually find her napping in one of her many favorite spots or playing with her toys. She takes her job very seriously… unless it’s nap time, of course.

Ruby spends her weekends at home getting spoiled and loved and comes back ready to rule the clinic all over again.
